Rose quartz is considered the most important stone of our time by many healing practitioners. It is pink color ranging from a pale pink to a reddish pink. Its’ clarity can be opaque to translucent to transparent. It is found in Brazil, Madagascar, India and South Dakota in the United States. It is part of the quartz family and is has a trigonal structure. It can be found in small and large clusters when it is being mined. The use of rose quartz use has been documented in the Greek and Roman culture. Archeologist have discovered fore quartz beds as far back as 7000 B.C. and 800 B.C. History has it recorded that the Australian medicine men used rose quartz to make what they considered a scared water that was a cure all.
